Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to the BD group - "Crash pad") |

Remove the crash pad side switch assembly (A) as shown below picture.

Disconnect the rheostat connector (A) from lower crash pad switch. |
5. |
Operate the rheostat switch and check for continuity between terminals. |
